IN HONOR OF ALL WHOM HAVE SERVED THIS COUNTRY
AS A U.S. SOLDIER AND DEFENDER OF FREEDOM
I will say of the Lord. He is my refuge and my fortress: In Him
will I trust.

A NATION THAT STOOD TALL
a soldier fights for your freedom
in a land and a war so far from home
as he realizes the importance of this mission
though he feels sometimes so all alone
he prays for the safe keeping of fellow soldiers,
of friends and family back at home
as he loses yet fellow soldiers to the right and left of him
for a short period time he had only known
cause freedom
isn't free
ask it to us who have been there
we would of gladly chosen to trade places with you
to of let you take our place
if you really had so much cared
the flag of this nation waves today proudly
because of a u.s. soldier you see
it is within our last dying breaths
that today it yet forever waves freely
so those of you thinking otherwise
need to really wake up and see
it is in the sacrifices of all whom have
been there and whom have served
to give you ..your civil liberties
it is within our
pain and sorrow and familiues grief
in this land and overseas
that has paid the price through a u.s.soldier
in keeping this nation free
we all want more in life,
yes i can say i do too
but i will not put any one or anything
before God and the Red White and Blue
i am just a soldier of the U.S.A.
though you know not my name
i am here to fight for you and your freedoms
both day and night
so you may not have to feel our pain
you can say what you want to mister
the one who's never gone to war
but we never asked for this
it came to us when terrorist crashed into those towers
came knocking on 9-11
on our own shores
you expect us now to all to show mercy to others
well no one told it to them
as we will reign our bombs and missles like the fourth of july
to let them all know the usa will win
we have come together
as a Nation
that rose to the God and Countrys Call
and yet Lady Liberty cried that day in the harbor
a nation came together
and yet stood tall
MAY GOD WATCH OVER THE USA AND ISRAEL NO MATTER THE COST...AMEN

Wreaths Across America Day: Saturday, December 15, 2012
Our mission, Remember, Honor, Teach, is carried out in part by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies a specified Saturday inDecember at Arlington, as well as veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond. We also organize a week of events includinginternational veteran’s tributes, ceremonies at State Houses and a week-long “Veteran’s Parade” between Maine and Virginia where we stop along the way to spread our message about the importance of remembering our fallen heroes, honoring those who serve, and teaching our children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to preserve our freedoms.
This week of events is made possible by thousands of volunteers who organize local ceremonies, raise funds to sponsor wreaths, and participate in the events. We receive no government funding. The cost of our programs is paid by individual wreaths sponsors, corporate donors and volunteer truckers.
We also coordinate veteran services and recognition through a variety of programs, and provide schools with teaching aides for projects throughout the year.

WHERE HE CALLS HOME A SONG FOR OUR HOMELESS VETERANS
Wade L. Smith Schererville,In.
Mike D' Amico East Meadows New York
"Where He (They) Calls Home"
11/9/11
Verse 1 and 2
The city sidewalks is where he calls home
Yet, to walk in his footsteps, he walks so alone
Like so many others, forgotten to the streets
Now his new home is a cardboard box, that’s where this veteran sleeps.
The city sidewalks is now his new floor
A far cry from the home he knew, before that damn war
Such a brave-brave veteran and highly decorated at that
Who was willing to serve both God and Country, at the drop of a hat.
Chorus
***Life on the Streets, is where he (they) calls home
What a shame and what a sin,
Has this country lost its’ Soul
Life on the streets, is where he (they) calls home
Time to make things right again
And let the truth be told
Verse 3 and 4
No Heat, No lights, other than the neon signs
As he flashes back to the war, in his troubled mind
Thinking of his buddies who fought and died, so we at home are free
To hug our precious children and blessed families
Now Freedom is never free, that’s why they fight in foreign lands
Then they come home to this travesty and they try to understand
Why they have no jobs, they have no homes and are stripped of their Dignity
Is this how we show our gratitude, to the ones who keep us free.
Chorus
***Life on the Streets, is where he (they) calls home
What a shame and what a sin,
Has this country lost its’ Soul
Life on the streets, is where he (they) calls home
Time to make things right again
And let the truth be told
Bridge
The Flag is in the distance, Old Glory yet she waves
It’s such a constant reminder, to the service that he (they) gave
He’s such a lonely man, who walks the streets and calls the streets his (their) home
Thinking of his buddies who gave their lives, lucky they hadn't come home.
Verse 5 and 6
He was talking to his Guardian Angel, on a cold and rainy night
And she too had tears in her eyes, feeling his pain, cursing his plight
As he pulls out a Holy Bible, half stained in blood red.
He said, "This belonged to my buddy in Nam, who sadly came back dead."
He said, "I’m not an emotional man and I seldom ever cry"
"But I cried like a baby and it wounded my soul, when I saw my buddies die."
Now I’m reminded of their valor and courage, in such God forsaken places
You know, whenever I see an Eagle in the sky, it is then…
I remember their faces.
Chorus
***Life on the Streets, is where he (they) calls home
What a shame and what a sin,
Has this country lost its’ Soul
Life on the streets, is where he (they) calls home
Time to make things right again

a soldier dies for his country and his fellow man
and a choir sings in a church on the countryside of their praise with a final amen
the church bell rings to a nation out loud and with dignity and pride
in the sacrifice of those who served past and present living and or had died
the whole country morns today
lady liberty has tears in her eyes and a father and mother in sorrow once more cries
its a nation that was built on in god we trust
and a eagle is in the sky looking over us.... i say thank you to all those whom have served through gods grace
and his undying words let peace be our path let no one spoil it at all for america will stand tall....
